TRILOGI LEADERSHIP
Stacy Smith, Esq., CEO and PrincipalStacy is responsible for the overall performance of Trilogi’s client engagements. Prior to founding Trilogi, Inc., in May 2007, Stacy was Vice President of Operations at AHC, Inc., a national healthcare receivables management company. During her 11 years with AHC, Stacy held various positions including senior attorney in the Problem Claims and Legal Departments, research attorney, and Vice President of Client Management and Program Implementation. She published several articles on healthcare topics and was a frequent speaker at tradeshows and hospitals on patient access and insurance legal reimbursement issues. Stacy received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans, Louisiana and is licensed to practice in Virginia and New Hampshire.
April L. Kooiman, President and PrincipalApril is responsible for the financial operations and business development of Trilogi. She has over 15 years experience in the heathcare arena. Prior to joining Trilogi in August 2007, April served as the Executive Director of Business Development at AHC, Inc., a national healthcare receivables management company for five years. April started her career in healthcare on the payer side, holding various management roles in Claims and Provider Relations. She has held such roles as Network Operations Manager for Accountable Health Plans, and Director of Claims and Provider Management, for TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TRICARE contractor) before moving her career to the receivables arena. April received her undergraduate degree from University of Texas in Arlington, Texas.
John J. Feldman Jr., Vice President, Business DevelopmentJohn is responsible for Trilogi’s sales and marketing operations in the Western United States. John brings over 20 years of healthcare sales, sales management, and consulting expertise to Trilogi. Over his career, John has worked for a variety of industry leading revenue cycle companies. With expertise in both the self pay and third party reimbursement disciplines, John has focused his efforts on creating value based relationships and solutions for some of the Nation’s largest hospitals and health systems. John has been an active member of HFMA since 1987. He has been awarded each of the Founders Medal Awards and is a Past President of the Northern California Chapter. John is an active member of Rotary International and is a Paul Harris Fellow. John received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Gloriann Sordo, Esq., Managing AttorneyGloriann is responsible for the management and performance of Trilogi’s claims operations. Her role involves overseeing teams of attorneys and claims representatives working and managing inventories of workers compensation, managed care, commercial, Medicare/Medicaid managed care, and Medicaid claims. Prior to joining Trilogi in April 2008, Gloriann was the Managing Attorney for the Southeast Operations of AHC, Inc., a national healthcare receivables management company. Gloriann received her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Law Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is licensed to practice in Florida.
